Framework is an ongoing body of work featuring monoprints, mixed media, and collage that explores the structure and stitching of quilts. This collection reflects on the matriarchs of my family- my mother, maternal grandmother, and paternal grandmother, who have all devoted great time to fiber arts and crafts throughout their lives. The meditative process of sewing invites introspection into lineage, unraveling threads that connect generations of women.
